Online ground school · built by a working instructor

Learn to think
like a pilot, not
just a student.

Structured courses in weather, airspace, gear and cross-country judgment — for every stage of your flying, from first launch to your first 100km.

Courses only — actual flight training happens with your local certified instructor.

This site will not teach you to fly.

No course, video or quiz replaces airtime with a licensed instructor. Paragliding is learned in person, in real wind, under direct supervision — until a certified instructor signs off that you’re ready to fly solo. Everything here exists to make that in-person training faster, safer and cheaper. It is never a substitute for it.

USE THIS FOR: Theory · Judgment · Site & weather reading · Gear knowledge
NOT FOR: Solo certification · Skipping supervised airtime

Three stages, one climb

Wherever you are in your flying, there’s a next step

Pick the track that matches your logbook, not your ambition. Each one is theory-only, built to sit alongside hands-on training with your own instructor.

Stage 1 — Ground & First Flights

Absolute Beginner

For pilots who haven’t flown yet, or are still working toward first solo. Covers the theory your instructor expects before ground handling and first flights.

  • Basic aerodynamics & wing behaviour
  • Reading a windsock and site briefing
  • Pre-flight, reserve & kit checks
  • What your instructor is actually watching for

Stage 2 — Ridge Soaring & Early XC

Intermediate Pilot

For newly certified pilots flying solo but still building judgment — the stage where most pilots plateau. This track closes the gap between licensed and confident.

  • Thermal recognition & core positioning
  • Active piloting & collapse recovery theory
  • Airspace rules & site etiquette
  • Planning your first cross-country flight

Start the Intermediate Track

✎ From $69 one-time — or included in Full Access

Stage 3 — Cross-Country & Competition

Advanced Pilot

For experienced pilots chasing distance, speed or results. Deeper meteorology, route strategy and the decision-making that separates good pilots from pilots who go far.

  • Advanced meteorology & thermal triggers
  • Route planning & glide math
  • Competition task strategy
  • Risk management on big days

✎ From $89 one-time — or included in Full Access

Rules change with your passport

Every country certifies pilots differently

A P2 in the US isn’t the same as a CP in the UK or an A-Schein in Germany. Before you enrol anywhere, it’s worth knowing which body governs flying where you live — they each set their own training hours, exams and site access rules.
